This year we have two pairs of bullfinch in the garden. This picture was taken in May just by our garden bird feeder. They love sunflower hearts. This is a male, with stunning black head and orange/red chest. You don't get to see them very often usually, but in our garden in Corfe Mullen they are around all the time. Photograph by J Adams. |
